The work.
You own the day-to-day on a set of client accounts: the relationship itself, taking the brief and turning it into something the creative and performance teams can work from, presenting the work back, and holding deadlines and budgets where they were agreed or getting approval before they move.
The agency delivers seven disciplines under one roof: brand, web, paid media, influencer, production, post and search. You sit between the client and all of them, which makes the internal half of this job as large as the external half.
The role carries the commercial side of an account as well: billing that is accurate, invoices that actually get chased, and a read on where an account should grow. You work directly with the founders rather than through an account director, and the accounts you run are yours to grow.
What you bring.
- Agency experience in account management or client services, including as an Account Executive ready to step up
- A route in from project management or client-side marketing counts as well
- You can take a client brief and turn it into something a creative team can work from
- Comfortable presenting work and holding the thinking behind it in the room
- Deadlines and budgets held, with changes flagged and approved rather than quietly absorbed
- Accurate records of meetings, decisions and next actions, kept without being chased
Also useful.
- Experience across both creative and performance rather than one or the other
- A read on where an account should grow
- Comfortable with the commercial side: billing, reconciliation, chasing invoices
- Calgary or Alberta based

How to apply
Send an account you ran, what it looked like when you took it on and what it looked like when you handed it over. Then tell us about a project that went wrong and what you did about it. We are more interested in the second answer.
Account Manager
Application received.
It goes to the founders directly. You will hear back either way.
Who reads it.
The founders, directly. Next comes a working call: 45 minutes with the founders, spent on the work you submitted. Then a paid engagement: a scoped piece of real work, paid at your rate, before either side commits. We do not ask for unpaid test work. How we hire.
